I want to wish a very merry Christmas to all of British History 101’s listeners in the spirit of hope that regardless of what traditions you observe or faiths you follow, this holiday season is truly blessed and joyous. I have before mentioned in the podcast that I am Catholic, and thus I quote the Holy Father’s “Urbi et Orbi” blessing here: “This is my earnest wish for you who are listening. A wish that grows into a humble and trustful prayer to the Child Jesus, that his light will dispel all darkness from your lives and fill you with love and peace.”
